Typically, you’ll all be within the same building as one another. There are times where it may be beneficial to even start the mediation in separate rooms, especially in cases maybe where domestic violence might have been an issue in the past. Regardless, throughout the mediation process, even if you started in a room all together, there may be times where the mediator might feel it’s going to be beneficial if you break up into smaller groups. You don’t have to start in the same room. You can go ahead and start in those separate and smaller groups.
